The Scene

While being a small town, Berwick is home to the Red Barn at Outlook Farm, the Hackmatack Playhouse, & Berwick Historical Society.

Settled around 1630 as a trading post, Berwick was originally part of the Kittery, which was the first incorporated town in Maine in 1647. It was pronounced “Barwick” in its infancy.
