How To Say “Aland” and What the “A” Means
June 09, 2017 / About AlandAs a non-franchised, independent, and exclusively local brand, Aland Realty gets a lot of questions about how to correctly pronounce Aland and what the A (with A circle above) means. Our company is family owned, and family members’ heritage originates in a small archipelago called the Aland Islands off the coast of Sweden. Aland is pronounced “Oh-lind,” with the small red circle (called an A ring) above the “A,” designating a long and darker pronunciation of “A.” We welcome all pronunciations and typically we say “Ah-lind.”
We have a lot of exciting news and updates in the pipeline, including a website overhaul and expansion. Thanks to @Rayaonassignment for these excellent company photos!
